Solar power anyone ?

My home was built in 1977 with two 200 amp panels side by side.

I also have a generator panel that covers 8 essential circuits... so only those eight go through a smaller panel with 8 switches to let me select.

Yes. That's how my home is set up. If I run the solar into the gen panel, it would feed both 200 amp panels when the utilities are working and would still function if the generator were powering the gen panel
