Solar shop heat

I know somebody here will know this.I want to build A solar water heater to heat my shop.Which is better,A continuous circuit within the collector or a manifold style.I'm planning on an insulated box with A green house panel for the sun to shine through & A heat exchanger in the shop.

I have been thinking about trying solar heating also when I put up a shop. I would think you need to do both if you have a large enough collector area, most examples I have seen run 2-4 collectors in a circut and then each circut is connected to a return manifold to a heat storage tank.
