This thread is offensive to me too.... LOL.. just kidding...

Go to a Kubota dealer, ride all of them for as long as you like, right there on the lot.

Finance at zero % for three years, make interest on your money.

You can get into a B series and a mower for 15K or less. The dealers have room for dickering (where I saved myself $500). Take a tralier, bring one of them home.

I like my turf tires a lot. I bought with the R4s (the mid-tread aggression, which I think is the R4) and they were too aggressive for my preferences. The stealer traded me straight even. I am pleased with the turfs, even while operating the loader.

One thing to consider if you so choose to finance... get all that you want now, and finance it all at zero. Loader, blade, valve controls, etc... even a trailer if the dealer has them (which this local dealer did indeed make their own and offered to throw it in on the finance deal). I had a tandem axle utility that serves me just right.

Please don't take offense to this post... I am partial to Kubotas, even after years of Deeres. :D

Hey crbr, NE Knox county, little community called Gibbs. Used to be rural, but K Town is encrotching big time. Where abouts are you?

And yeah, I do like the Orange. :D

Kingston here.

Knoxville is almost here too, some two counties over and 25 miles west. Hackney trucking has made the tie. it's all a matter of time now.

Hackney wanted to build out our way 1st. We let our county commissoners know we didn't want it in our rural/residential community and for once they listened and wouldn't rezone the parcel from ag to business. There was a bigger site just a few miles away in the city but Hackney was pizzed & wouldn't take it and he took his toys and built in Roane county. The tax revenue it brings in is good for Roane county I'd say. We could have used it too but wanted to keep our little corner of Knox county as rural & residential as possible. All the subdivisions going up helps offset it though.

I was born in Harriman but my family moved away when I was 4. That was many many moons ago :D
Wouldn't mind having a place on the lake with it's own slip though :D
Don't mean to hijack this tread, nice to e-meet you :D

I have a problem with the subject of Digging fence posts with a Back Hoe. It is simply very bad advice. There are a lot of reasons to want to own a Hoe and post holes is not one of them.
