An apology is in order.
I probably reacted to forcefully out of a guilty conscience. I'm the world's worst for making things that don't have the big picture in mind.
An example. A bud's cabinet shop was broken into. They lost about thirty thousand dollars worth of tools. I not only fixed the damaged door. I made it where if you don't know the secret the door can't be opened from either side.
I was prouder'n a pup with two tails.
Then during a building inspection by a fire marshall in a town some miles away the inspector pointed out how the old owners had used some hidden bolts to prevent the door being opened except by those in the know. He explained how that could cost a fireman his life if he was inside and something went wrong and couldn't get out that door.
That has bothered me to this day. I'd need a ladder to inspect the bottom of whale poop if something like that happened and I was responsible.
