After many hours of searching and convincing my lady that we absolutely needed one I ordered and received a shiny new Woods BH-80X :thumbsup:.

What caused you to pick the woods over the Kioti unit? I don't know about the woods but it sounds good from what Mousefield says.

What caused you to pick the woods over the Kioti unit? I don't know about the woods but it sounds good from what Mousefield says.

Main reason I went with the Woods was it came with a factory 7 position thumb. The dealer I was talking to at the time (bought from someone else) was going to weld a 2 position thumb onto the Kioti backhoe, thought it was a bit hokey. For me and my needs the thumb was very important, really would not have bought the backhoe without the thumb. Nice to be able to cut a log standing straight up, sure makes it easier on the back. Same thing with lifting some of those heavy rounds onto the wood splitter, could do it years ago but well uh, that's it :mad: , I'm getting older. :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:
