Well in the case of the LS MT125 the boots look good but obviously let water run down and the seep by the boot on the valve. I think we're all glad to discover this issue and clean it up before any permanent damage occured. Maybe on your Koiti you could figure out some kind of expander to made for the lower part of the boot. These compact and sub-compact tractors use good name brand off the shelf parts but some of the finish work - such as boots are lacking. As long as these little issues are easily fixed I'm fine with it. Part of the fun of this tractor for me is the improvement of it for my uses. But we have some good idea's here and that synthetic grease is a nice idea. I'm not going back into my valves unless they need it but at least we know how to fix these issues........
