4 or 5 minutes of operation with adequate, albeit somewhat generic, UTF would not cause this. Period. The mind boggles. Operation might be sluggish or weird if the fluid really, really disagreed with the tractor, but not this. No way. If you replaced the same number of gallons as you withdrew, that is also not an issue.
I do still wonder about how many drain/fill points there are on that tractor. If there is only one drain and one fill, then those were the one you used.
The problem no doubts stems from the wrong filters. Upon starting up for those 4 or 5 minutes, you state your operation was wacko from the get go.
That tells me that those filters were wacko as well. The flow was unable to reach proper pressure and something either air locked, as you suspect, or was momentarily dry and seized or got hung up, internally. A valve or some such is jammed or partially so.
Finding out now, what to do, is going to take some sleuthing. Stay with the air investigation right now. That and the proper filters. Take this one step at a time.
