Why no sheathing or vapor barrier behind the siding?

Are you going to cut vents into the soffit? Why do that when you can buy soffit material that is already cut and provides better air flow then metal soffit vents?

Did you block your fascia? It looked like you just put trim on the rafter tails and nailed right into the end grain.

Did you use Smart Siding? Their website explains how to install their products
