Here is his post on a different thread. This might explain it.

My front grill opened on it's own Tuesday morning. So it was sticking open. So I pushed on it to get it to latch. Needless to say the plastic handle Broke. Now I have 16 stiches in my arm due to a piece of metal that was in the bottom of the handle. SO be carefulwith the plastic handle's guy's. Why couldnt it have been made of Aluminum or Stainless Steel?

Ouch! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif That would make me think about a new tractor.

Not for nothing, but must companies still have no clue where e-mail is concerned. Have you tried calling them?

The Cas (Case) is a New Holland, so you get the puking battery and the hose problems. Sounds like you are trading apples for apples because you were clumsy and got hurt. Usually, people get hurt because they were in a hurry or inattentive. The tractor didn't hurt you, you hurt yourself....dah!!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Any machinery has it's pitfalls. Your new case will too. Don't get your hair caught in the pto shaft. You will have a real quick bald spot.

The battery spill over problem is only on the old TC-D's and is corrected on the TC-DA's. I do agree that his response was extreme, but the DX40 is a lot different machine than a basic L.

Kind of an interesting outlook is expressed here. Inanimate objects don't injury us. We injure ourselves. The causes could be many, but the tractor didn't plot to hurt you.

This is sort of like the spanish translation of "The bus left me".
Not that I was late for the bus.

Not for nothing do it make sense to make a hood latch out of plastic the will degrate over time from UV radation and save a few buck. It should have been made out of Stainless Steel or Aluminum that is not affected by UV radation. The L 3600 was the 2nd Kubota I have owned had an L2550 previous.

I had been looking for a new machine for the past 3 years after the incident that i had. Kubota not making a practial hydro foot pedal system. For people with big feet and bad left ankles it was time to move on. The L3600 has served me well it has done almost any thing that has been asked of it.
