will soon be putting the old JD out to pasture. The new NH TN65 is in, still waiting for the FEL. the dealers around here push the alo fel, but after asking around here i decided to go with the 32la. i went by and looked at the tractor the other day. whoa, gorgeous...i'm afraid my wifes goin to be jealous. the dealer told me people have be drooling over it, so i asked him to erect a fence around it. i ordered it with the radial ag tires, it's pretty beefy. after using a 35 yr old tractor for 5 years, i'm going to have to learn to drive again, this thing has more bells and whistles than a locomotive. also got a 84" taylor way box to add to my other implements...weighs as much as the woods and $150 cheaper...we'll see. feeling like the kid on christmas eve though, been saving some work up for awhile in anticipation. news at 11.

Congrats, I remember the first time I tried to move the TN when I picked it up from the dealers. I was use to older equipment with just a couple shifters. Had to have my dealer show me everything but after a couple days it is second nature. The controls are very well placed and easy to use and reach. You will be happy with this tractor and the 32LA loader. Did you get the new model with larger fuel tank and mid mount couplers for the loader? I guess the easiest way to know if you don't know is if there is a storage box on the left fender with a cup holder built in and rubber Floor mats on the platform.

yeah, it's the lastest model. i had asked to have a tool box attached and they told me it already comes with one, it's pretty great. i got the owners manual already so i could start learning. they could have been a little more generous with info, it's pretty light. setting the implement hight, draft control, quick up and down, all new to me. my tractor had up and down /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. everyone here convinced me that i wanted a 4wd also (ok, it wasn't to hard). my current is only 2wd, so looking forward to the differences.

First time you use the loader try it without FWA, then lock it in and see the difference. You won't be sorry. However, if it is the new model with the storage box on the left fender, I would not call that a tool box. It is too small to hold many tools but it was a compromise and at least you will get a cup holder. Enjoy

The easiest way to find out where all the levers are is to stick a three year old on the seat. Their hands will hit every control on it within about 20 seconds. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif This isn't an exaggeration, I've done it twice. I think they key in on the different colored knobs and inserts.

Congratulations!

Sounds very familiar. A 4 day wait turned into a 3 week wait because of FEL follies. I ended up cancelling the late FEL (Woods) and switched to a 16LA, sight unseen. I hope your situation turn out better than mine. I'm sure it will.

You'll love the TN. The 32LA loader is great also. What trans did you get? the 16x16 Power Shuttle?

I don't thnk there's an unhappy TN owner on the board.

Hey Andy,
I got the 8x8 synchro w/ mechanical shuttle, which is a step up from where i came from. that will work fine for me since i use the tractor for tilling , sub soiling, cutting mainly. got a grading box too, i look forward to playing with that and learning how to use it.
