I see that Sonner Sales no longer sells grey parts to the public. Hope this is NOT a trend.

I think they were spread thin trying to maintain a large importing business with travel to Japan, after market new parts, used parts and new grey parts.
They are now foucusing there used and grey parts on thier container customers, and aftermarket parts for the general public.

Now that is a puzzlement. I always wonder why, when any retailer decides not to sell something. I do know a couple of shops that feel the tedium of ordering parts isn't worth the effort....but then I know of others who think that it is business as usual. I haven't heard of any change in parts availability, so it is probably a busines decision.

Yikes... I used to order my parts from there before I found the yanmar yehaa sight, len shafer and all.
They had good prices on air filters... tis a pity if they won't sell to us anymore.

I don't believe his Air Filters are a FACTORY item. He should still be carrying them... In fact, I just checked... the filters are listed elsewhere on his site and are still available...

I believe you are correct.. I think he mentioned to me that they had them manufactured locally.... ( funny... normally you think of cheap labor over seas.. and we can build the air cleaners here cheaper.. go figure.. )
