start by saying great site...and great information on here

I am personally new to anything land based, now living in the country on 5 acres from the standard 50x100 lot.
I inherited a JD 400 with a 60 inch deck, not sure the exact year but I think a 78..still runs great but can't find any attachments for it, was basically just looking for a factory loader to move the odd pile of dirt or snow, etc
so I just purchased a kubota, bx1850.
so a couple questions and not sure if I should spread them out over the different forums
how much should I ask for the JD 400
and what kind of loads will the pto on this new lawn mower take?

The PTO on your new BX1850 will handle anything designed for that size machine, 50" snowblower, rotary broom, tillers, rear finish mowers, etc. It might be a little light horsepower wise for a 4" woodchipper, and might have pretty slow performance with something like a woodsplitter, but otherwise, you will be fine. Use the advanced search function in the Kubota owner/user forum, and search for BX1850, and you will find lots of info. Good luck with your new tractor!
