Kubota L3830 03: RTV 900
An RTV 900 with Soucy tracks. I tryed for 3 hours to get it stuck but couldn't make it happen. I will try to post pics again. Too many irons in the fire tonight. It may not look it but there is over 7 feet of track per side in contact with the ground.

Awesome set up! Thanks for the pics. If you don't mind, how is the price compared to matracks?

About the same. The 900's are 1K less than for the 1100. You can buy all the special tires you want but they will never do what track can do.

A set of soft side doors are 400 bucks apiece. I can make a set for 100 each. I want to keep the overall weight down so as not to decrease payload capacity. I use this more for work than play.

Show the pics of trying to get it stuck. :)
Looks good sitting. Those tracks look wider than normal? Whats the big spring hanging down underneath?
Imagine how it would go with all wheel drive, instead of 3..
The snow is beautiful.

Thanks

Great lookin' machine >>>> Wish we could get some snow, I'd purchase a pair just to run around building snow men ~~~~ It's still hot a ever down here. Folks are still running around in shorts, mowing grass, convertibles running around with the tops down.... Running A/c all day and night lately !

We might get some snow when **** freezes over

Outstanding, one nice rig. I hope to match you soon. Great looking cord wood also. I miss trees.

Needless to say if you really understand 4 wheel drive it does have it. Except the wheel that does not spin only has as much tourque as the wheel that is spinning. It does not have differ lock in the front. However that project is on the back burner right now. A machinst buddy and me are going to make that front differ lock.

I think that the places that I was trying to get it stuck will be frozen solid this morning. It is minus 6. The tracks are 14" wide.

Deelope,

I am curious also, what is that spring contraption under the belly of the RTV, has it something to do with the tension of the tracks ?

Wheels that don't spin have zero torque. :)

The spring acts as a shock absorber. Just like the rubber inflated tire would if you hit something solid.

I sure do like your bed rail extensions. Did you build those yourself?

Would the st-110 soucy tracks made for the rtv 1100 fit on the rtv 900 because I found some used? Thanks

Deerlope , I just got a set used and I can't figure out how to get them on . I got the back figured out but not the front i can't for the life figure out the front. I may not have all the parts. I bought on eBay for a song and a little dance ,but it may not pan out for me. Is there a bracket of some sort that you have to have for the front axels ?

As I understand it the only difference is the back track is a little longer on the110's than the100's . They will fit according to the sales rep Peter .......I forget his last name but he is listed on soucy web site

Check for the dealer of your tracks and see if you can source a parts or install manual. Most companies have on-line manuals or can be found by googling.
