Hey Soundguy, I plan to buy my dads Ford 640 this spring. He has had fluid in the tires for years and the rims are showing it.

I would like to get new rims and oversize tires (really just because I think a wider tire looks better). I saw your turfs... nice but I want lug.

Do you know what size and a good place to look for rims and tires.

Thanks
Guy

PS
Fab job on the "G"!!! I had a chance to buy one of those when I got my Cub, but only had funds for one. I chose the Cubby.

In the end.. I think the cub is a more useabe machine.

Well. if it has the standard 11.2-28's on it you can go to 12.4-28 on the same rim.. or if you change the rim and centers out.. the sky;s the limit. I've seen 13.9x24 in lug.

My 660 has 12.4x28 loader rears. I think one has a leaky valve core.. or a pinhole. About once a month I have to air the tire. Right now.. that seems to be 'ok' for my wallet. If I have to air it say every week.. or every day.. that might be enough incentive to break it down and re-tube it..

Try millertire.com pretty much the cheapest place I've seen. Most of the time if you buy the tube/tire/rim from him.. he'll send it assembled and beaded. Ready to mount and air.
