Source for 1-3/8 6 PTO direct mount chain sprocket

I did a quick search of the net. didn't find anything useful.

Tooth count is not so important, just something "small" for #40 or #50 roller chain.

Yep, I couldn't find anything either.

May have to do some machining and welding on a shaft adapter.

That's what I came up with also.

I made a purchase of a universal joint yoke, but it will be machined just the same. It's on it's way.

I'd think twice about running a sprocket directly off of the PTO shaft.
I'm assuming you intend to use the bearings that support the PTO stub shaft on the tractor to react the loads that the sprocket will see?
I 'm not sure those bearings weret designed to take much "overhung" reaction load like a sprocket, way out there at the end of the shaft, can deliver.
A lot of my concern depends on if your project will be pulling a lot of torque through that shaft.
If so, then consider mounting the sprocket to an independently supported shaft, as a tiller or brush hog do.

I have never seen a 6-spline sprocket configuration. And I have dealt with about every kind of sprocket imaginable. My concerns are the same as Baby Grands.

If you plan on direct driving off the PTO shaft, you are gonna want a frame and mounted bearing aft the sprocket to support the PTO shaft.

Better yet would be framework for whatever you are building, and drive the sprocket with a short PTO shaft.

Years back JD 2 cylinder tractors had a chain driven implement lift that was powered by the tractors pto. JD cotton stripper was powered by sprocket & chain. Rd hay balers have some fairly decent loads transmitted from chains

Sweepster brooms , now Paladin Attachments, used them years ago on their smaller machines. A chain sprocket with
a separate 1-3/8" x 6-spline adapter.
The part numbers were: 06-0094 sprocket, 50H15, and 06-0087 splined hub.
They're probably still available.
