My cab tractor has a threaded plate for a post to support an amber beacon. Does anyone have any good sources? Thanks

Any AG farm or industrial tractor dealer has them at the parts department.

Any vehicle lighting suppliers like GROTE and such..... Bit of search should turn up a bunch of sources and styles.... Look to web sites that supply lighting for emergency vehicles....

Do you have 2 electrical posts behind the threaded mount and a switch in the cab ?

I picked up mine at my JD Dealership's parts department. Mine's a standalone that sits on top of my ROPS via the included magnet plus a couple of tiewraps (zip-ties?) to secure it in position. It came with a 'cigarette' type plug and I ran a 2-wire with 'cigarette' receptacle from the battery to the floor underneath my seat to power it.

I recommend spending a bit more on the light. The first one I got was an inexpensive light with the rotating mirror and it worked fine... for a couple of years (infrequent use). They take a beating via vibration & jostling, sitting up high. I replaced that beacon with a moderately more expensive LED beacon and have been very pleased with the result = confidence of being seen when on a public road.

You get what you pay for.

Revolving/halogen? Strobe? LED? How much do you want to spend? What is your use? Traveling between locations? Snow plowing?

All sorts of questions, but any of the places mentioned, or a specialty outfitter like Galls. Prices can be anywhere from $20 to $100 or more. Your TYM dealer may have one designed to fit with the proper mounts and connectors.
