Ammo boxes are great, but someone mentioned moisture in another thread. I can't imagine ammo getting wet, but if you aboslutely must keep stuff dry, consider a "dry box" from a boating store. My son has one for his jet ski; he can keep his phone, GPS, portable marine radio, wallet and such in it and it will be kept absolutely dry. Probably not cheap.

They are gov't surplus. Can't imagine real ammo boxes being plastic. As for the other sources, Cabella's was more expensive, at least at the moment (3.97 versus 5.97) and sportsman's did not have the 50 cal. boxes, which are the most handy for small spaces. Great price at the liquidation site, but what the heck can you do with 144 ammo boxes?
