My friend recently purchased 10 acres that he wants to clean up, and then maintain. He wants a tractor, and, as luck would have it, is almost STUCK buying blue. I have no hope of "curing" him, so I get to help him sort it out.

Where is a good source of complete specs, and configurations? I requested a manual from the website, is there a good website that also lists them?

I am leaning toward the TC24, But even class III models won't be ruled out..,

All kidding aside they are fine machines and I look forward to going through the buying process for a blue one. Especially when its someone else's money!

Mike, as JayC has listed New Holland has Adobe Acrobat Documents with all the specs. Just click on his link and open the link that says "Full Specifications" at the top center area of the page. The Adobe Acrobat links are on ever page at the top. Hope this helps. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's funny you are in that situation helping your friend. My closest cousin more less brother just recently bought a JD790. I'm going for the Class III NH Boomers. Only thing is he's not offering me his help. Coarse I haven't asked him either. I haven't had to; I've got all you folks on TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Besides we're pretty competitive towards each other and would only end up banging our heads together. Seems we're that way in about everything, but have always been close friends.

He's a Chevy man, me a Ford, him a JD man, me a NH, he's a Realtree Camouflage man, I'm a Mossy Oak. He shoots Hoyt I shoot PSE etc. etc.. We don't want to be different our preferences just always opposes one another. Sometimes I wonder how we get along. Anybody else have close friends like that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just thought that was funny Mike didn’t mean to ramble on. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

It's funny you should mention something like that. Me and my friend are the same way. Just like you and your friend, me and my friend don't strive to so different, but our interests are just about ALWAYS opposing. Weird thing is, he's my best friend. How can someone that different be that good of a friend? I'll never know. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Now, back on topic here. lol I don't know if NH updated their PDF documents or anything, but it seems some info in the PDFs is lacking. Being the Boomer and Farmalls are the same machine except for obvious differences, I find the PDF on Case's website more helpful than the one on NH's.

I'll provide the link to the Farmalls.

CaseIH Farmall

When the page loads there are some links there you can click on regarding the features or you can click the link to the corresponding machine. PDF is at the top of the page. I don't think it matters what model you click on, so anyone is fine.

JayC about three or four months back I printed off the specs on the new Holland Boomers. A month later or so I looked at them online again and they had changed the layout and seem to leave a few things out that was on the previous spec sheet. The Tire specs and Model Dimensions(Width, Length, Height etc..) also the wieght of the tractors and the turn around radius's. So I don't know why they cut that stuff out. Maybe those specs have changed a little from the 2003 to the 2004 models. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Have a good'n'.

Agree that Case is putting out better information on their line. Picked up brochures for both the DX and TC and there is no comparison in the two.
