source for ford 1520 motor

got a chance to get a 2 wheel drive 1520 for 500 dollars with motor missin everythang else good.
i got a 1700 4x4 so most parts wont interchange an
dont really need another small tractor unless i can turn it over.
where can i find a price for good used motor or new other than dealer.

I doubt you will find a new engine any place but at a dealer New Holland does not allow it to be sold aftermarket. They own a good chunk of shibauru so they have a good say about what goes on there. There are many junk yard across the US that may have a junked out 20 series tractor at this point, but I would expect that they would also be hard to find, you can look at motor from a 1320, 1520 and 1620 to fit into this tractor.

checked dealer an they only sell short block add in the head
an it just dont add up. aint a hole lot of these small fords round here so parts is tough.
