Been doing that. Looks like robo spam. I don't recommend clicking on the link. May get more than streaming.

The mods have no control over preventing spammers. All they can do is blast them once they are reported. So if you see spam, please push the little triangle "Report Post" button and enter SPAM as the reason. After that, as soon as a mod sees the report, they will blast the spammer. Don't reply to the spammers and please don't enter a paragraph of why you hate spammers in the report. We don't like 'em either! ;)

I'm pretty sure the site administrator can block specific IP addresses from accessing the site. Their site administration tools provided by the host should give them the IP address and the tools should be able to block that specific IP address.

Then again who knows

There's a new twist. At least there is to me... I can't gain access to the threads (Bolerser is the 'name' this time) in order to mark them as SPAM.

One is for some awards show and the other is our old friend 'live steaming' grid-iron football games.

I wonder if this is because the MODs/Admins have already blocked the buggers & are working on removing them later. I say later because it's still Sunday evening in NA. It's Monday morning (almost noon) where I'm at.

Not if they use a different IP address each time. ;) And let's say they use a common ISP, like comcast, for example. If they block an IP address from a common ISP, they potentially block legitimate TBN members that have that use that same ISP.

What if new members had to make a certain number of posts before they could post a link. Maybe 10 would work. Would that discourage spammers enough to get them to go elsewhere??
