I looked high and low for a spanning wrench to adjust my Left Arm Leveling Assembly, instead of using the hole at the end of my adjustable wrench. I was tired of the wrench slippting off the end of the metal rod and busting my knuckles from time to time. Sometimes, pain is a great prompter of thinking, so I built one out of a piece of 3/8 re-bar.

It works quite well, and can be reversed for raising or lowering my blade in the dead of winter, expecially when I adjust the angle of the blade to avoid tearing up my gravel driveway.

Attached are a couple photos if you are interested.

What a simple, effective and economical answer to an age old problem!
Even though I have top and tilt cylinders, I did keep and moved the adjustable arm assembly over to the other side so I still have a need for your spanner.
Good job.

I used a piece of re-bar for mine too, but I drilled a hole in one end that slips over the rods on the adjuster.
