Very good everyone! I think that's record time. I put that list out at work and it took them three days. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That list was created by an executive admin assistant who worked for General Dynamics over 30 years ago. She was "superannuated" at the time she wrote this list, and since has become a "cadaver" as I'm sure she would say. I guess this challenging little list lives on as her legacy. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

2. Scintillate, scintillate, asteroid minific.

Couldn't find the word minific in the dictionary. If this does, in fact, mean "twinkle, twinkle, little star", that would just be mean to confuse us like that... know what I mean? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Here's an alternative... Scintillate, scintillate, self-luminous celestial body consisting of a mass of gas held together by its own gravity in which the energy generated by nuclear reactions in the interior is balanced by the outflow of energy to the surface, and the inward-directed gravitational forces are balanced by the outward-directed gas and radiation pressures.

... or something.

My wife is Brazilian. She has been here since 1975 and speaks perfect english without an accent. However, our 3 college educated sons, all in their 20's, just love to try to confuse her with words and phrases that a native english speaker would have no trouble with. The look on her face as she tries to figure out what they are saying/meaning is priceless.
