Speaking of rollover: Several years ago I developed a two-axis electronic "tilt-o-meter" which read out pitch and roll angles and produced a loud alert if a preset angle was exceeded. The device mounts with four bolts and wires directly into a vehicle's electrical system.

This device may be just the ticket to warn of a rollover situation. Is there any interest in making it available to the tractor community?

Robbie,

How did you determine what the preset angle would be? Just curious if you used the pucker method?/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Sounds good to a lot of us I'm sure, We all like to see what the other guts are doing, making and modifing.

Thanks for the response TD. The original version of the electronic angle detector was designed for the aircraft industry. The student pilot could preset the angle above or below to sound the alert. That way he could hold a preset angle for practice.

Back to the ground! This version could be preset by the operator at the angle that causes his/her pucker to exceed acceptable tolerances.

This device has no way of knowing where the center of gravity is, so the preset angle would have to be preset with a CG high.

Thanks again for your response!
