Special Edition seat

I went by the dealer to pick up some small parts today. While looking around I noticed they had a new X7xx special edition. It had the seat with arm rests on it. I tried it out and wonder if I could put one on my 2520. Is the special edition seat the one to get? Or just a X7xx seat? Anyone know the differance? I think a better seat would be easier than making my 3 acres smooth. JC

I too am considering upgrading the seat on my 2210. My old seat on the X585 was so much nicer. Will the new x series bolt on or will some mods have to be done?

A few people have done it without too much problem. I just did not know which seat was better the regular x model or the special edition. JC

The special edition has a suspension in its base that really helps with the bumpy work and is weight adjustable.

Hold onto your wallet when you price that seat - it's a doozy!

I think deere has a coupon on their website for 10% (I think) off seats - it will save you a few bucks.

Installed the special edition seat on my 2210 and it's great.
The seat is a little pricey but worth the money for the ride.
It's around $500.00

Can you tell me if the new seat is higher than the normal one? My wife can barely reach the foot controls now.

Does the seat and suspension come together? Or do you have to order both. I mentioned getting this seat at the dealer the day I tested it. They never heard of anyone wanting this top of the line seat. JC
