I installed the special edition seat on my 2210 with the help of RRacer. Here's the directions he sent me, I’m not sure how a 2520 seat setup is but maybe this will help.

You need the 2 mounting brackets that bolt to the bottom of the X seat and the 4 mounting bolts. On the front edge of those brackets there is a 5/16 hole were a pivot pin goes thru( the pin that the seat folds forward on)you need to open those holes to 3/8 with a drill this will allow you to use the 2210 pivot pin to mount the seat. You will need 2 spacers that if memory serves my right have a 3/8 hole and a 3/4 O.D. and are 1.25 or 1 1/4 long. you will need 2 other spacers same I.D. and O.D. or you could just use washers that are near 3/4 long. The short spacers go between the seat brackets and the 2210 mounting brackets. The longer spacers go between the 2210 brackets and keep the pin from sliding back and forth.

I went yesterday to order the seat. I went in the shop to look over a new x748 se to look at the seat again. I noticed a seat just like it sitting on a bucket in the corner, Hmmm. Talked to the mower woman. (small family run business, the brother sells tractors and the sister sell mowers and gators).She said thats the seat she sets on to take a break. She had ordered it a few years ago for a ztr, but the deal fell through. We looked and she had the mount for it also. She said if I had a few days, she would get the shop to see if they could mount it on a 2520. If it fits easy enough, she would call me in a few days to bring my tractor in for the install, and give me a much better price than a new one, which was around $550. I have my fingers crossed. I never posted how my seat deal worked out. I did not order a seat since dealer had one a few months old that did not work out on a ztrack deal. I got the seat for $440. Dealer did all the work trying to figure out how to mount it. They tried the $110 bracket that fits the x series but that made it too tall. They ended up unbolting the small bracket from my 2520 seat and bolted in to the se seat. I brought my seat home, put in on, installed the rod and clip. It rides so much better now. I may unbolt it and move it back a little more. It does set a few inches higher, so it is closer to the steering wheel. I have about two inches to play with. I also cut one ridge off of the factory hard poly bumpers that were for the factory seat to make this seat level. Here is the deal maker. Dealer asked if I wanted to trade in my factory seat, I had no real plans for it and said yes. She went and looked up the price for it, and I figured she might give me $40 for it if I was lucky. Factory seat list for $240, since I kept the bracket from it, she gave me $200 for my 2 month old seat. Then asked if that was fair, I almost kissed the 50 year old woman. I got this seat for $240 and had talked my father into going halves on whatever the final cost would be. I would take pics but I have a hard time getting them to show up on here. JC

I split the final cost with my father and was only out $120. At 39 years old and missing time from work with back problems, the new seat helps alot. Especially mowing the 2 yards I took to help pay for the tractor. JC
