"Man" , that looks like it could be a very dangerous weapon if I had that on my little 7200. I love your descriptions with hammers, I'm just sitting here chuckling to myself.

Ron,

Looks good, but the end sure is out there!

Any idea how much you can lift at that distance?

Glad it is pretty flat where you are going to use it. Kind of scary looking at the end of the boom pole so far up there!

The pole with the loader fully raised is 16'. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I haven't checked to see how much it will lift. I would guess around 300 lbs. at the very tip. Counter weight on rear of tractor will limit the load.
I don't plan on lifting heavy things with it. I have some plastic pipe frames that are used to winterize our Garden Pond. I put them in the second story of my hip roof barn. Last fall I used the loader to take them out. One fell about 6' to the ground and broke. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I can now use a strap to put them up there. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I may have to look into adding Hood & Head Guards if I'm going to move much with the pole. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

ronjhall.... or should I say Holy boom pole Batman. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif That's a pretty cool idea... one more use/argument for getting a FEL. Kinda looks like the perfect thing for jousting /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Excellent idea , sometimes i have to get heavier things up to my loft for storage ,your system would be great! I will have to look into pricing one of those quick connects for FEL right now this is all I have see pic.

I hope your're kidding. I have a prety good size machine NH TN75 and I don't think there is anyway I would try to put something through that door from that hill below it with a boom or even just with the loader. Just doesn't look even close to safe. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Andy, Well put ,your right I would be dangerous if not just plain dumb ,Just seeing if your awake /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif,but I would like an easier way to get heavier stuff up to the loft, the stairway going up to the loft is rather narrow. Maybe I should concentrate on making the steps wider so it would be more comfortable carrying things up... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think I'd make a platform elevator that can be lifted by a steel cable through a pulley on the beam above the loft door. I'd either pull the cable with the tractor directly or with a tractor mounted winch.
