Spencer200 another parts ?

I really hope Spencer200 reads this. I ordered some bolts for the rear wheels on my TC18, part #SBA010111230, this is a grade 8.8 M12x30 bolt. The ones I got are, part# SBA011511230, they are M12x30 but are not marked as grade 8.8 ,they have a 7 stamped in the middle of them. I called my dealer ,he ordered them for me, and asked him if they were the correct grade. The parts person I talked to didn't seem to know what I was talking about, but he did tell me that the two parts #'s are now interchangeable. I do believe him on that point but my question is all bolts are graded for a reason why are these not marked the same,8.8, if they are the same? I can't seem to find a 7 as a grade for metric bolts anywhere.

The only part number I can find for a TC18 is part number Sba011511230 This is the only info I have on this tractor for a rear wheel bolt. I dont know where they came up with the other number.

Thanks guys. The original part # came from the NH parts catalog I just bought from NH. I was just wondering if the new one is stronger than the original one?

I just got an e-mail from a company in CA they said that the new bolt with the 7 is a marking that the auto industry uses. It is stronger than a grade 5 but not quite as strong as a grade 8 bolt.

I finally found out what the 7 is on the head bolt. It is a grade 7 bolt like I stated in another post. The bolt is a JIS (Japenese Industrial Standard) grades include 4,5,6,7,and 4T,5T,6T,and 7T. The T is for tensile strength, and the number indicates 1/10 of the min. tensile strength. It is not similar to the grade 7 ISO.
