splitting the 2010 for a clutch

I have what I was told is a 1966. Although after talking to an old timer at a dealer he told me based on the numbers it is a '63. Tractor looks same as yours as does the loader, the backhoe on yours looks smaller though. Do you know if yours is a JD backhoe? I have no clue if mine is.

yeah im pretty sure mines oem. i seem to remember the tag on it somewhere. i have been to antique tractor shows with it and people have told me they have never seen a factory backhoe att like mine. very few guys were even aware it was made by jd back then.
i have the tractor owners man and the loader also but not for the hoe...

gittin the fel and the hoe off is gonna be a real pita. big heavy stuff.

too bad it dont come off like the fel on the bx 2200 huh....

if yer fuel and oil filters go on top then theyre old ser number..if they go on from the btm its newer ser number..so its at least a 66 or older if its like mine..from the top

Considering what new tlb's are selling for I would be inclined to see about some engine work as well as the clutch. I would consider new piston and liners sets as well. A little more work but may get you by for several more years. This engine is an easy one to rebuild.

The hoe on mine comes off relatively simple. 2 hydraulic lines with quick couplers and four bolts...that's it. As long as the machine is running, all I do is use the hydraulics to take the weight off the mounting bolts, remove them. Then shut her down and remove the lines. Pretty simple.

I just noticed it looks like your loader uses 2 joysticks, mine only uses 1 4way.

yeah id like to do all that ..the wife wants to somewhat restore it but i really dont have the cash to pay someone or the time to do it myself. i work 6 days a week and have a 3 yr old to chase around.

i think the engine job is probly as imp as the clutch but its still running right now.

wish i could trade it for a lessor tractor in better shape somehow

I have my manuals dug out. Let me know if there is a particular part you want copied.
