I am about to spray afew acres with a new to me product called ( thicker pasture). I am a bit new to using a sprayer but in the directions it states use a # 70 screen or larger ?

are the referring to the filter and nozzle screen? and if I am thinking right do they mean like a #50 screen? 50 is bigger than 70 isn't it?

#50 is courser than a #70 screen 70 is likely the finest screen the product can get through. Not a product I am familiar with if it is a dry product you may want to dissolve it in a bucket of water before to dump it into the sprayer some fertilizer product are very hard to dissolve and to keep in suspension. Try GEMPLER'S - Outdoor Work Gear, Spray Equipment, PPE & more they have lots of good info on their site also www. sprayers.com might be helpful to you.

Just looked up "thicker pasture" leave a test strip untreated and report back in a couple months, no idea of the cost per acre but it sounds a little like snake oil. Don't believe it could in anyway hurt put not so sure it will give you a noticeable difference in yield. Good luck
