Anyone use 3 point broadcast spreader and pull type disc together to plant ryegrass in one pass? I know the spreader will spread seed about 25 ft and disc is 12 ft wide. I would normally set spreader at 40 lbs per acre. In theory I should set spreader at 20 lbs per acre but since I'm doubling my passes because the disc is roughly half the width my spreader will spread. Does anyone think this will work?
