Just a pic of the branches the recent storm deposited either on the ground or well on their way to being. I'm not sure how my lilac bushes are going to recover or a spruce tree that is now just about bare on one side /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Certainly not a catastophe though.

I probably had more weight on there than I realized as many were 4" thick and I had a hard time heaving some of them up there, but of course I didn't have a problem getting them out back to my brush pile, which is the direction the tractor is facing.

My girl Petra is taking a needed break as she was having fun splashing around in the two new ponds on either side of my house while I was gathering branches /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The creek must have eroded a bit, too. I don't recall dragging the blade on either side last time I crossed it. I might have to do a little building up with rocks or bricks before I go hauling my tiller back there.

Now that's a load of branches! And a nice looking machine to boot. I hope your bushes recover well.

I do feel compelled to make a gentle suggestion: for your safety's sake I wish I saw more weight on the 3PH than just a blade. No offense intended, I just don't want to read a post about you in the safety forum.

No offense taken. The tires are loaded and I "bounced" the load a little before I did any travelling on uneven ground, but I did have some concern and appreciate your noticing.

I am not taking that blade off again and causing another snow storm until I'm sure it won't snow again. Maybe by Memorial Day /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Fred:
There sure are a of pines down around the area huh? Wow, what a wallop that storm packed! I'm hoping the forcast for the next week will dry things up around my house...we still have snow on the ground!

I, like you, have no intentions of taking the blower off my tractor until June! One never knows around these parts... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
