installed these springs under my seat & removed the old rubber bumpers. smoother ride & the back side feels better after 6 hrs of hoggin

Almost the exact same ones I used on my YM1700. Sure did feel better afterwards.

What did the springs come off of. I would like to put some on mine.

I bought them new from a lawnmower parts supply store. they are used on murry's, mtd's etc,I just went to home depot & got a mod # off one of their mowers & took it to the parts place.Bolts right in the place of the rubbers

I will try that ,I need 4 of them.maybe three days of bush hogging want be that bad.

I used valve springs off a small block chevy, they work great.

I just dug out 2 old valve springs from my junk pile and installed in the YM 3000 seat, what a improvement. Thanks for the suggestion, putting in a pasture Tuesday and it should save my rear end and back lots of the usual abuse. Highly recomend this change to others, thanks for the idea,

I assume that you attached the springs to the bracket over the hydraulic vent instead of the seat. What did you use to attach the springs with? I just have a couple of wood blocks there attached by nylon tie wraps. The springs would be much more comfortable. I have been wanting to do that as well on my 1700. Also did you put some kind of boots over the springs to prevent the springs from buggering up the seat?
