I am looking to add a sprocket to my 3 point hitch snowblower chute. I can not seem to find a sprocket large enough to make this happen. I have ordered everything else I need to make my chute hydraulic driven using #40 chain. The diameter of the chute is 9 so that would mean I need the sprocket I/d to be just larger than 9 and o/d does not really matter to me. Maybe 11 or so. Anyone have any websites or ideas to make this happen. I have found tons of sprockets online but nothing really of this size. I have a couple pictures of what I am trying to accomplish but I am new to the forum and for some reason I cannot figure out how to attach a picture.

What brand of snowblower do you have? Have you considered matching the sprocket on the hydraulic motor to the sprocket pitch on the snowblower chute?

I tried. The sprocket pitch comes out to be roughly 1 1/8 I keep finding stuff that will work with 1 1/4 or 1? The snowblower is made my Braber equipment sold by northern tool. The rotation kit that they sell for the snowblower is too much money and I know with enough research and questions asked I can make it happen for half of what they want for it.

Why not use the existing sprocket / shaft and adapt a Hyd or electric motor to that? Also is this your unit? see the manual attached

See item # in the drawing ... #28 - Turning Screw - 13002828

Nice that the gear detaches from the hand crank. Could you use that in conjunction with your hydraulic motor?

I did think of that option but the hand crank has a lot of play in between the teeth of the chute and i have seen a few screw type cranks destroyed from a hydraulic motor.
