Sprocket for snowblower chute

I tried. The sprocket pitch comes out to be roughly 1 1/8 I keep finding stuff that will work with 1 1/4 or 1? The snowblower is made my Braber equipment sold by northern tool. The rotation kit that they sell for the snowblower is too much money and I know with enough research and questions asked I can make it happen for half of what they want for it.

Think outside the box. Think bicycle.

I would go higher up at Northern and tell them you can't get "parts" for stuff they sell.

I have seen cases where a chain is welded to a frame and a sprocket travels on it. Maybe you could wrap and weld a chain around the chute if your chute is stable enough. Possibly use some idlers at two corners and the motor with sprocket at the third point.

I was thinking the same. I have seen the type that wrap a cable around the chute and wind it in or out with a hand crank. If the OP has a hydraulic motor and 40 pitch chain, he could make a loop around the motor sprocket and then do 1 wrap around the base of the chute. Affix the two ends of the chain to the chute, and now you have your own virtual sprocket.
