Okay new ignition switch installed and she started up mostly fine, it seems that my solenoid wants to stick on first start of the day. The first time I heard it stay spun up but released on its own after a few seconds. Turned the tractor off and on probably 6 more times during the course of the day and no more hang ups. The next day cranked it up and solenoid hung again, I simply grabbed the dead blow hammer that I recently installed on my tractor and lightly whacked the solenoid and all was good for the rest of the day, all this done from the comfort of the drivers seat!
One more peculiar thing I didn't mention, when I turn my ignition off the tractor keeps running until I chop the throttle is this the proper way for it to work? It works this way with the new ignition and did the same with the old.

Your Tractors Diesel Eng. runs off compression of the Fuel not Spark to ignite the fuel. So you cut the fuel off to stop the motor from Running. Use your Decompression when you start it. Holds the Valves open Esp. the first time in the morning to let the Oil pressure come up. When your oil light goes out release it. Closes the Valves. My oil pressure comes up really good and on average I count to 5-1thousants for my light to go out. I do that just to keep a good idea How cold the Eng. is. Slow to go out,Dirty Filter and Oil. It will also be a lot easier on your starter.

That starter is still crook, just be wary of it and it may clear itself up.
