Okay new ignition switch installed and she started up mostly fine, it seems that my solenoid wants to stick on first start of the day. The first time I heard it stay spun up but released on its own after a few seconds. Turned the tractor off and on probably 6 more times during the course of the day and no more hang ups. The next day cranked it up and solenoid hung again, I simply grabbed the dead blow hammer that I recently installed on my tractor and lightly whacked the solenoid and all was good for the rest of the day, all this done from the comfort of the drivers seat!
One more peculiar thing I didn't mention, when I turn my ignition off the tractor keeps running until I chop the throttle is this the proper way for it to work? It works this way with the new ignition and did the same with the old.
