My suggestion would be to go sit on as many different brands and models as you can. Don't discount the Kioti or the LS as valid choices. Both make good tractors. As Fried has said, Branson is also good. I'm happy with mine. Lots of bang for your buck on a Branson, built like tanks, and I saved $20k over the cost of a green colored one. But if you don't have a dealer somewhat nearby, then that's what it is.
It sounds like so far, you're only real hp demand is brush hogging rough fields. The thing to keep in mind is for the most part the tractor's hp is only part of the equation. There's also tractor chassis weight and FEL lift capacity. A 25 hp 5000 pound tractor can get more work done than a 25 hp 2000 pound tractor. As long as we're not talking running pto driven tools off the 3 point hitch, or pulling tillage plows through fields that is.
Try to figure out which types of pto driven tools you will want to run off of your new tractor. Ok sure, we got that you need a brush hog. What else? Tiller? Wood chipper? Snow blower? These tool uses will drive what your actual hp demand is for your future use. The last thing you want to do is buy a tractor that won't power the equipment you want or need to run.
So, with a brush hog, a 6 footer will take more hp to drive than a 4 or 5 footer. But the bigger mower will also be harder to fit down trails to get to the mowing site. It's a balance. You know your land better than we do.

My only issue getting my 2wd stuck is in soft mud with a heavy front load. I dont thi k 4wd would help much because its mainly the front just sinking. But balanced weight and smart driving and I've not had an issue. I have some steep hills. Just keep it pointed the right way and you'll be alright
