Made it safely there. No heating issues on the truck. (So I guess it's good to power wash the radiators on a 20 year cycle. :laughingOn the steepest part of the canyon grade I was down to 25 mph with my throttle buried in the floor board. I have never towed anything that heavy before. I did own a 30' fifth wheel camp trailer that I towed a 2 place snow machine trailer with 2 ATV's on. Going triples was still no comparison to the PJ trailer and tractor. Having the ballast box on didn't help for sure, it's 1600 pounds alone. That is the last of the heavy pulling. I have two more trips with my 18' enclosed snow machine trailer and we should be done! Looking forward to that for sure.
As soon as possible after taking possession of the land we'll get the perc test done for the septic system and get a well driller scheduled. Pics to follow![]()
It may be time to take the Cummins in for service (injectors and injection pump), it should have handled that load a little easier.
cat fever good luck with your new place.
I know that water can be hard to get in places up there,
I'm going to suggest something that will get some people talking have you
considered having a water dowser out to try and find the best place to drill for
water, some people don't believe in them and while I wouldn't put them at 100%
I have seen them right to many times to discount them.
