Thanks for the pictures. The one of the snow scares me. It's been in the 70's here for the last four days and now we're in panic mode because it might get down to freezing this weekend.

Yep... it is deep winter here in the Bay Area too... rain with temps dropping down to about 50... all the ladies at work have their winter gear on with parkas and boots being very popular.

Down to 50 degrees today, so I'm back to wearing pants instead of shorts. Every time I think that I want to live in the Rockies, I'm reminded that winter there isnt like winter here.

We have most all the house stuff moved, will finish up tonight. I'll have a internet outage for a little bit until we get hooked back up in the new place.

We also won't have any where to sit that is comfortable until Wednesday when our new furniture arrives. :laughing: It'll be worth it though being in!

50 is your threshold? I guess it goes with the territory. I'm in shorts until about 40deg unless it is windy. I hate long pants unless I'm throwing sparks. :laughing:

Eddie, you know the old AZ saying "yeah but it's a dry heat", that's also very true about the cold. My first time out in the ID/MT/UT mountains in winter snowmobiling I couldn't believe the thermometer, sure didn't feel like xxx below 0 compared to the humid mid atlantic region I grew up in and spent all my years working outside year round. For me, humidity ruins temps above 75 and cold below 40.

Sure has been snowy as of late. Plenty of tractor time clearing snow.
