On my 2003 TS354C there is an Eye bolt that passes through the drawbar between the lift rod and the implement connection. this eyebolt has a threaded link that is attached to the staybar turnbuckle.

There must be a better way to attach this as the eye-bolt bends and the drawbar ends up dragging on the opposite side tire. I have tried a 1/2 inch forged eyebolt but alas still not string enough.

The hole is a bit bigger than 1/2 inch but I cannot locate a 5/8" forged Eyebolt.

The turnbuckle is tightened up all the way. I have a welder and am thinking of fabricating a clevis with a plate that I can bolt to the drawbar.

Any ideas?

I too am having the exact same senerio with mine. I replaced one already with the other already bent. If you have a local Ace Hardware close by they will have it or be able to order you one. Here's a link for an eyebolt . And you'll more than likely need a lap link for it as well. I was pondering the same thing for mine, it dosen't seem to hold up to well and seems to be a weak link.

Thanks for the link, I am trying a different approach... Turns out that a Category 0 Hitch pin is 5/8 of an inch... so I installed these and using i think 6 large flat washers on the outside of the lap link to take up the slack. Granted it looks a bit funky.

I just bush hoged and plowed about an acre and it looks to be holding up well.
