jrlichina - As bird said, the ground around here cracks severely during the summer dry spells and swells during wet periods. The far back part of my back yard that I don't water will have a spider web of cracks. Some up to 3" wide. You have to be careful walking on it. And mowing it will shake your eyeballs. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
By the way, here in NTX we do get down in the teens regularly and sometimes single digits. Nothing like you have, but cold to us. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

( If you are going to have someone build it for you, you might check into Morton Buildings if they are in your area. I looked at some Morton buildings before deciding to do it myself. I was impressed with their building.

BB-TX is right about Morton . They do one heck of a good building ! I'm saying this as a guy that does pole buildings for a living . Very professional folks . John

I just received my building yesterday: 36' x 48' x 16' with and 8/12 roof pitch, 14' x 16' sliding doors, 18" overhang all the way around. $15K from Miracle Steel not including wood and siding.
