thought I would chime in here...if I was getting into clearing I would snap up Ted's machine in a heartbeat...if you want something smaller I would push you very hard towards the Tak TB175 or KX 080...there is no trouble at all doing installs on the Tak and if you want to see one run we are only a flight away!

I appreciate all the help I've received here. Excellent group of guys. They really saved me on this one. I was dead set on the PT100 because I could rent one in Nebraska and it was only a short haul to the South Dakota job. What a nightmare that would have been... and what a fix I would have been in!

You always hear the saying, "Use the right tool for the job." It's so true.

Thanks for the heads-up on the TAK. They look like great machines, but they seem to be really rare up in the Plains states. Looks like plenty of Kubotas around, but I'm having a little difficulty finding a steel-tracked machine. I've got three or four months to hunt one down, though, so no worries yet.

Yeah, that Daewoo is an awesome package.
