Steering cylinder rod replace help, TC33D

I have removed left steering cylinder on TC33D w/Super Steer and purchased a new steering rod (old One was visibly bent and leaking) and seal kit. I have end open with spanner wrench but can only pull old rod and piston half way out. Is there a trick to removing the old rod or is this an indication my cylinder is also bent so the piston gets stuck?

Figured it out, piston was flat on one side, got out with a rod and rubber mallet, but looks to me like the tube is damaged internally so need the whole assembly now... Great...

Sorry I'm not that familiar with the parts you are having an issue with. Hopefully someone else will post with more knowledge about the hydraulic steering than I have.

Howd you get the left steering cylinder off the tractor? I tried disconnecting from the left front wheel, but I couldn’t pull the cylinder down enough to get it off of the bolt. It must be attached somewhere up in the frame. How did you get that off?

The attached is for the next size larger frame (35, 40, 45) New Holland but maybe it will give you some insight if they are similar?
