Hello.
New to the forum here. I have quick question regarding how the vent for the front transaxle should be positioned normally. I completed a hydraulic oil change over the weekend per the Steiner manual, but did not notice anywhere how the vent should be left for normal operation. After filling the front transaxle it states to close the vent and move to the rear to fill it followed by bleeding the system of air pockets and final level check at the rear. That said, it does not state if the vent should be reopened. This is a 1999 Steiner 430 Max w/ 21 hp Kubota diesel.
Any help is appreciated!
