I have a TC33D and am interested in getting a step for it. Those of you who have installed one, how much did you have to pay for it from your NH dealer and do you like it?

Thanks

Seems to me it was something on the order of $75.00. The added safety getting on and off the tractor make the addition worth while.
Just don't dwell on the price ... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Brad,

Does it stick out so that when you walk by the tractor you catch your leg on it or not? I have the 29 and I am fairly tall but would still like to have one. I hate to spend 75.00 and then not like it.

Thanks for you prompt reply. I have another couple of questions.

Did it come with all the mounting hardware and does it mount using existing holes on the tractor?

Thanks

The step only sticks out about 2 inches from the operator's platform. I don't believe that you would get tangled up with it..

Yes, it came with instructions, mounting hardware and your tractor should already have the necessary mounting holes. If you don't have the holes, you may be able to order them from New Holland, but I don't know the part numbers ... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I appreciate your feedback. I don't think I will have to order any holes, I have several left over from past projects. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks Again

Did you get them in assorted sizes or did you invest in a hole stretcher? In the past, I have had trouble getting the right sizes, as most places don't stock the odd ones. Shipping can also be a problem, not so much from the weight, but they (the holes) are very hard to get hold of... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't believe the step for the class II Boomers is compatible when the mid mount mower is attached. However, I think the mounting holes would be compatible either way. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I always keep a complete assortment of holes handy for my projects. What I haven't been able to locate is the Click and Drag tool.
