Re: Steph\'s Nature Pics
This month, we've had all sorts of weather extremes, from flooding rains to freezing ice storms. Now that it's back to normal, we've started noticing some new bird species. I say we, because I spoted the Cedar Waxwings.

Steph has 15:20 eyesight, and can see better than most people. She's also very patient and is looking for birds all the time, so she spots most of them!!
Our official bird species count that we have positively identified is at 49 diferent species as of today on our land. We've seen a few ducks that we haven't figured out what they are, along with a dozen birds in Tyler that we haven't seen here yet. We've heard owls, but never seen one to identify them. The count could easily increase a dozen or more birds.
Again, thank you to everyone that helped us decide to buy this camera. It's just done an amazing job!! The more she uses it, the better her pictures are. We've been deleting and organizing all of the birds into seperate folders with dates to know when that bird species is here. What started out as an idea has turned into a passion for us.
Anybody looking for a good camera, check out the Cannon S-2!!!!!!!
Here are some of the new birds and a few winter birds that come back every year.
