Hello all i need some help i have a 2000 model mahindra 575DI and i was runnin it the other day and three of the seven bolts in the sterring box broke i have talked to serveal people and im told that it is my pressure relief valve. The pressure relief valve in this tractor is supposed to be located in the tandom hydr pump i have taken the pump apart and have not found any sign of the valve. Am i over lookin it ? I bought the tractor used and am thinkin that someone has removed it. If that is the case can i add a pressure valve to this tractor without buyin a brand new pump? Please help im lost on this and cant find many people to talk to!!

Every hyd circuit should have a relief valve.

Does your PS fluid come directly from the pump, or does it come from a splitter/divider, which may have a relief valve on it.

Straight from the pump it is a tandom pump runs sterring and lift for implements no front end loader.

Yes, you can add a relief valve to the steering circuit.
