i have a massey 165 aD4-203 perkins with water in the oil and when you pull the dipstick out it blows alot of air and oil water mix i was thinking head gasket i just dont understand why so much pressure in lower part of engine.I can pull the oin pan and pressure up cooling system to check for leaks serial # 94-75751

Sounds like it is time for a rebuild. preasure getting buy the rings and blowing out of the dipstick. That is my idea.

yes i pulled the head and the 1st piston from the radiator is worn with alot of slack plus the sleev has sliped down 1/8 inch the other 3 pistons are realy tight so i think i will just have a sleev pressed in and a new piston with rings and go for it

If you selling it, that would be the thing to do. But if you are planning on keeping it for a while, it may benefit you to rebuild the entire engine. Be sure to send the head in to get it checked.............regardless of which way you go.

I agree with Don It is cheaper to do it now than later.

Yes i agree Don iam not sure the cost of rebuilding but most of the work i can do myself i just need help with that 1 sleeve pressing it in after that i can put it back together.that loose piston has some chunks taken out of it like somthing was between piston and the head but head is clean not sure
