I have been having a problem with the hydro pedal on my B2920. It returns to neutral slowly and will not engage the safety switch to allow the engine to start. Took it apart last week and lubed but still doesn't work correctly. Seems too floppy in neutral position also. Anyone had one fixed with this problem? I plan to bring to the dealer this week, just wondering if this is a common problem?

Does it have many hours on it?

I can scan and send to you the page from the B2920 WSM manual that goes in detail on how to adjust Neutral. There are two springs, and an adjustment mechanism. But I would not think you would really need to do this unless it has some usage on it, but I am a newbie on these.

I will scan in the morning for you. Maybe be helpful, may not be what you are looking for, but you can review it.

I assume you know there is a grease fitting that needs to be occasionally greased on the hydro pedal. It is under the floorboard where the two pedals pivot. Usually it presents a problem when you shut off the tractor then it won't start again because the pedal isn't centered. I think it is shown in the manual.

Pls post the page from your manual? I have the exact issue as well. Thanks.

Only has 285 hours on the machine, I can't see the spring or mechanism that returns the pedal to center. Seems you have to take the floorboard off the frame? I removed the pedal and greased it but the problem is in the spring and the rod that contacts the safety switch. Thanks for the scan I don't have an assembly manual

Here you go, hope it helps some.

I scanned five pages that I thought would be relevant. Originally it was all in one file, but it exceeded the limit of a single file to upload at the site, so that is where they are broken out into multiple pages now.

I think pages 1 - 4 are informative, but the actual adjustment procedure you may want to look at is on page 5.

Caution : I don't know if these will help or not, but hopefully they can shed some light on the issue you are having.

I have a 2620 that does that same thing. I frequently have to move the hydro pedal around to get it to start. Please post if you find the issue and what you did to fix.

Thanks....
