The tech was here today and replaced the center control on the F/R foot pedal. It works fine now. Thanks Kiotiken unfortunately I didn稚 see your note until today (Wednesday)

Mine seem to work better after they replace that but it comes back.

Yes and yes. I've said it many times in many different threads and I can understand why nobody want to listen to me, but the issue is only resolved by replacing the HST. There are lots of people talking about adjustments and new parts, especially in the Bobcat section, but nobody ever FIXES the problem, they only improve it for a little while. My dealer has lots of experience with this issue and has replace many HST units. They tried several adjustments prior to replacing the HST and took several pressure readings from the ports under the floor by the pedal at Kioti's request. The pressure test was exactly what they expected, it was low, and Kioti replaced the HST without any issue at all. To me, the fact that Kioti had no problem replacing the HST after all adjustments were tried and that my dealer has done the same thing several times, tells me that Kioti is aware of the issue and it is more common that people realize.

Here's a video of my tractor before the fix, video is in post #24. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kioti-owning-operating/218090-my-new-ck-30-a.html

I've always thought it was a simple lubrication issue. I haven't heard of anyone who had the HST replaced because of the sticking so I am surprised at your dealer's experience. On my CK20 I would occasionally find the pedal in the neutral position would allow a slight creep but tapping the pedal to reverse slightly always fixed it. It was not a consistent problem and had little practical impact. No such issue with my DK40 but that has two separate pedals.

I guess I値l need to pay attention to this as it is a warranty issue.

You can bet that's what I'm doing now. I've got about 80 hrs on it since the HST was replace and all is still perfect.

I thought the idea was crazy, but I can't argue that it works just fine now. I hope people are resolving the issue, but I do see a lot of similar posts and for the most part, 94Bullitt's experience seems to be what is reported after any fix is mentioned, it works for a while, then comes back.

The practical impact for me was the danger of somebody else using the tractor and using the tractor around kids. Also, I would often drive a bucket full of wood to the wood shed, and being a little lazy, try and get as close as possible to avoid carrying it any further than I had to. Let's just say I have some lattice to replace.

Yeah it's a big safety issue. Mine sticks at the worst times like loading a truck with the pallet forks. I don't know why everyone is replacing the dampener when bobcat says that will not resolve the issue.

In a situation where it is critical that the machine not creep. I always set the parking break. Do not depend on the "neutral" position of the HST to hold your tractor in place.

Times when this is critical are like when I pull the loader up to within inches of the lowered tailgate of my truck so that I can roll a barrel full of fuel into the bucket. I would not want the tractor to creep into the tailgate.

Also when loading onto the trailer, I do not want the tractor creeping off the back. While I go and get the chains.

Finally, when attaching implements I do not want to be crushed by the machine.

Set the freaking parking brake if you want the machine to stay put.

Highbeam, I absolutely agree and use my parking break all the time. The safety issue comes when you're using the tractor and it doesn't stop as you would expect. That alone is an issue, but so is an over compensating when you hit reverse too hard to stop it. Mine got so bad it became difficult to control properly and would continue as if your foot was to the floor for 20-30 feet before it would even think about slowing down. I'm betting it would have continued creeping 600 ft + before stopping altogether, if it ever did.

Being aware of the issue means it's probably not going to lead to an accident, but with other people using the tractor or using the tractor with kids around, I wasn't willing to take even the slightest risk. Being covered by warranty probably helped my resolve and I'm not sure what I would have done if my dealer told me I had to pay $3000 fix the problem and it wasn't covered.

My tractor shuts off if you get off with out the parking break locked. I also always lower the loader and the 3 point hitch if the implement is attached with the parking brake locked.
